We started our first project as "Children's Home (orphanage) "in Bangalore by taking care of five children. We slowly expanded our support to close to twenty children. We later expanded our supported to many children (2000) and senior citizens from the year 2010.
All activities related to children are grouped under the project "I Support"
& activities related to senior citizen are grouped under the project "I Care"
"I Support" is a project of Abilashrayam Trust (R) working on orphaned / abandoned / underprivileged child rights.
"I Support" is a directional & a guidance home for underprivileged/orphaned/abandoned children, where in we nurture the dreams and aspirations of these children by improving their standard of living and immediate surroundings. We strongly emphasize on the concept of providing the best support to each and every child under our initiatives through the millions of individuals who support these children in various methods. A secured/protected future is our motto.
"I Care" is a project of Abilashrayam Trust (R) working on destitute/neglected senior citizens rights.
In the Indian Society, the cultural values and the traditional practices emphasize that the elderly members of the family be cared for and treated with honor and respect. In some circumstances the family may be unable to provide the appropriate level of care that an elderly family member may require. This may be due to work commitments, young children or any change in health issues that require around the clock care.
